I like it! My only problem is with calling a Trait's numerical value a Skill. Seems unnecessary and slightly confusing. It just introduces an extra layer into the calculation.E.g. you write "cross referencing your Trait’s Skill with the task’s Difficulty." ---- why not just have "cross referencing your Trait's rating with the task's Difficulty".
So it's just a dice mechanic? It doesn't seem to have any particular connection to a genre or style of play
